The Traveling Couch by onnawufei The Traveling Couch by onnawufei
The first strange thing about this couch is the fact that it's even there in the first place. Behind the area are houses, but otherwise not so much. So someone either had to take this couch through their backyard and through a stupid amount of bushes and/or trees to put it there, or someone had to put it in their truck and drop it off.

The second strange thing is that it was later moved across the street for no apparent reason. Hence the traveling part. To the best of my knowledge it's still there.

As for the fact that the couch looks double exposed while the rest of the picture doesn't, I just take that as a sign that it's haunted. *solemn nod*

Okay so there's actually a perfectly reasonable explanation for that, but my theory is better.

Taken with a Mini Diana using 35mm lomography color negative 400 ISO film

Now I wanna sit in that...it might be much like Enid Blyton's Wishing Chair or The Bed That Ran Away...but a haunted chair is just plain awesome!>w<

Awesome shot!

Really strange. But there's something strange with all the couchs - they always move when they are alone in the streets, but you never see them moving!
Once I read a novel (I think it was some of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy saga) in which there was a special couch which could travel through time and space. Could it be something like that?
BTW, I love this work!

This reminds me of a scene from the beginning of a Douglas Adams book. Clearly the reason the couch there is because... Eddies in the space time continuum!

Oh I have no idea. I've actually only read the fourth and fifth one time each. I've read the first three multiple times but I didn't like the last two nearly as much. I'm a Zaphod fan so the lack of him annoyed me. :B

I'm the same way. I can barely even remember the titles of the last few books, but I practically have the first one memorized.

It's so the South when a couch not only takes up residence in a neighborhood, but is then moved about and shared. XD

Haunted couch to boot? Spooky.

I had a couch that did that once. Put itself through a window. There may have been people there to help it, but it was old. :3

Still quite creepy. :D
