Overall I think vegetarians have a bad name, and I attribute this to what I like to call "crazy vegetarians". You know the type, the ones who sneer at you when you eat your hamburger, who tell you that you too should be veg, and who are just generally overbearing and annoying as hell. Yeah, we're not all like that.

I don't care what you eat as long as it's not on my plate. Hurray for sane vegetarians!

Ya know I think my cousins thought I was one of the insane vegetarians back when I couldn't tollerate eatting meat *still can't really* XD I seriously got so many glares and a few times they assumed I thought I was better than them...I'm not sure how "no meat = better than you" but eh...

SANE VEGETARIANS UNITE!

I too am a sane vegetarian who wholeheartedly believes its everyones right to eat meat as much as it is my right not to.
But I have come across the worst kind of overbearing vegetarians, ones who have usually been a vegetarian much less time than I have and believe because I think this I'm as bad as meat eaters!

Two years ago when I decided I wanted to be a vegetarian, all of my friends were always asking, "Oh! Are you okay if I order such and such?" when we went places to eat. I just kinda give them a funny look and told them to get whatever, because I honestly don't care what other people eat, as long as I'm not eating it.

I'm a non-dedicated vegetarian. X'DDDD I just.. don't really like meat at all so I rarely eat it, but I do sometimes.

I like to think I'm a sane vegetarian...but it does bother me when other people order meat, just because of the concept behind it, that being the reason that I'm vegetarian in the first place. Not that I deny anyone's right to eat meat, nor would I tell someone they can't, but I still think that it's wrong; I don't think that makes me insane though...^^;

If I had a subbie, I'd so use this. I hate how by saying I'm a vegetarian, people automatically assume I'm insane. Like I've seen lots of anti-veg stamps cuz of the crazies. :)

Just kidding. I appreciate that, tooXD. I feel like I'm an unwilling vegetarian sometimes. Meat is never available to me. So when I have a burger, I rejoiceXD.
