A Chat Over Breakfast
by =onnawufeiLeo knew he was in for trouble when he noticed that Yan kept glancing over at him during breakfast. Leo had uncharacteristically decided to join his housemate even though he was only having a simple cup of tea and trying to read the newspaper. Naturally this ended up to be a mistake.
"What do you want Yan?" he finally asked. "I can tell you've got something on your mind."
Yan wasted no time. "Well I was thinking... you're dead right?"
"Yes I am."
"And you've said you don't have any blood flow right?"
"That would be why I'm always cold, yes."
"Well then how do you get it up?"
Leo nearly spit his tea across the table though he settled for choking on it instead. Once he had managed to regain his composure, or at least some of it he stared at Yan with wide eyes. "How do I what?"
"You know, get it up. Get excited. I mean... can you? I'd hate to be spending all this time pursuing someone who I can't even have sex with, though I mean there are other things we could do so don't think I'm going to give up if-"
"I am not having this conversation with you," Leo interrupted. He turned his attention back to the newspaper.
Yan pouted in response. "Oh come on Leo! It's not like I'm asking if I turn you on or anything I'm just wondering if it can even happen in the first place. I mean if you have no blood flow then I don't see how it's possible."
"Well I blush don't I? I move around, I can even eat or drink if I so desire. Even I don't know how any of that is possible but it is. Therein lies your answer."
"So you can!" The glee in Yan's voice was almost frightening. "Really?"
Leo sighed heavily. "Yes Yan, I can and on a rare occasion it does happen. I am not going to elaborate."
"On a rare occasion? Do I ever have something to do with that occasion?"
"Not elaborating."
"I do! I turn you on don't I? It's okay to be honest Leo, I mean you turn me on and I'm honest about that."
“I’m leaving now,” Leo said, grabbing his cup and pushing himself away from the table.
“But Leo! We were having such a nice conversation!”
Yan watched Leo leave, disappointed that he was doing so but not really surprised. Oh well, he’d got the information he wanted and that’s all that mattered.
And it does answer an important question.
